Student Travel Grants

The McMaster Centre for Climate Change Management provides grants to offset costs for graduate students who present their research at national and international conferences. Internships

Undergraduate students can serve internships with the McMaster Centre for Climate Change to support the High School Weather Station Network and organize seminars and community outreach initiatives. High School Outreach Volunteers

Graduate and undergraduate students can deliver climate science presentations to students at secondary schools and community events throughout the year across the Hamilton region. Field Work Volunteers

McMaster Student Climate Chapter

To foster collaborations and community engagement, the McMaster Centre for Climate Change operates a student chapter that connects university students with local environmental organizations. The chapter hosts talks by guest speakers throughout the year. Past speakers have included representatives from Stewards of Cootes, the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Hamilton Naturalists’ Club and Restore Cootes. The chapter also promotes volunteer, job and post-graduate opportunities at McMaster and in the environmental sector.
