Low Carbon, Climate Resilient Cities Symposium

The MCCC in collaboration with its event-partners is excited to announce a day-long event that will explore the challenges cities are facing due to climate change. The event will highlight available opportunities for advancing low carbon, climate resilient solutions, which can help cities mitigate and adapt to climate change and make them healthier and resilient.

Can Science adapt to a rapidly changing world?

Talk by Dr. Martin Manning at McMaster University.

Dr. Martin Manning will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by McMaster during the June 2016 convocation. Dr. Manning has been deeply involved in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and has contributed to several IPCC reports, including the Fourth Assessment Report, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
