The McMaster Centre for Climate Change Public Speaker Series, which is made possible through the support of RBC’s Blue Water Project, was created in partnership with UNU-INWEH and the Global Environmental Change and Human Health (GECHH) International Project.
Held twice each year (once per each spring and fall semester), the Public Speaker Series aims to engage with the greater Hamilton community by hosting speakers to talk about a variety of current issues related to climate change. Held at the McMaster Innovation Park, these talks are delivered in a manner accessible to all audiences. Information on upcoming talks will be posted to this site as soon as plansare confirmed at the beginning of each semester.
Next public talk will be from David Miller, former mayor of Toronto and current president and CEO of WWF-Canada, the Canadian division of the international World Wildlife Fund. The date of this talk will be in October 2017, stay tuned for exact times and date.
